In Haiti, the illiteracy rate is over 53%. HCM has schools from kindergarten through high school. Many of our former students now serve the people of Haiti as medical doctors, nurses, pastors, teachers, lawyers and other professions. As our education projects expand, your prayers and support are truly needed.

HCM is a place where the kids can participate in organized sports where they learn discipline, team work and respect for one another though our Play It Forward program.
One of the requirements to be part of the Play It Forward program is to have good grades in school. Play It Forward wants to make sure that each and every child keeps up with their schooling.
Sports are more than a game; they are a set of life lessons. Kids growing up without them are really disadvantaged so Play It Forward creates an environment that ensures that those life lessons are learned and cultivated.

The medical system of Haiti continues to cope with the nation’s serious health needs. The country has one physician for every 4,000 people and few medical facilities.
HCM partnered with Project Haiti Heart to build and equip an OB-GYN adjacent to our hospitals in Fond Parisien. These two facilities serve a population of 80,000 with quality healthcare. We are praying that people associated with the medical field will partner with one of our doctors or nurses to help fund his or her salary.

$25 – Provide lifesaving medication
$100/mo – Salary for a DR/Nurse
$500 – Cesarean section delivery
$2500 – Dig a well for a village
