Will you partner with HCM to help provide meals, books, safe classrooms, and life-changing education for students in Haiti?

Walensky is 14. Every morning, he walks over three miles to school. He wants to become a doctor. His mother, a woman of deep faith, used to work to support Walensky and his three siblings, but Haiti’s ongoing crisis cost her that small job. Now, every day is a struggle to afford food, let alone books or uniforms.

Yet, Walensky shows up, every day. He works hard. He listens closely. He believes God has a plan for him. But he can’t do it alone. Right now, children like Walensky, and hundreds more across Haiti,  are preparing to return to school this October. Some will enter classrooms with no roof, sit on broken benches, or study with no books. Others are still waiting to be told there's a place for them.

Could you give towards the $80,000 needed by September 15, to ensure that Walensky and hundreds like him have the tools and support they need to thrive?

Here’s how your gift will help us reach our $80,000 goal:

  • School Infrastructure: Safe, sturdy classrooms and furniture for overcrowded schools like       La Croix Perisse, Fonds-Parisien, and Thoman.

  • Youth events: Like the incredible Bible Competition at Thoman, that help young people grow in wisdom, deepen their faith, and build life-long friendships centered on God’s Word.

  • Feeding: Nutritious meals for thousands of children who may not eat again until the next day.

  • Benevolence: Books and uniforms for students like Walensky, whose family is not able to provide them with new supplies.

  • Teacher Salaries & Supplies: Provide faithful teachers and the supplies they need to give every child the best chance to learn and grow.

Meet Kerbens Richard, an English teacher in Port-au-Prince. “What I love most is seeing my students grow in confidence,” he says. When one shy student was afraid to speak in class, Kerbens worked with him daily — and today, that student participates proudly.”

We need your help by September 15 to meet this goal before students return in October. Will you stand with them today?
